On April 1st, 2026, applications for the purchase of environmentally friendly energy production equipment for apartment building owners, energy communities, municipalities and state institutions began. Applications can be submitted until June 1 of this year. The total available funding for the support program within the Modernization Fund is 26.8 million euros.

Interested parties are invited to apply for funding by preparing a project application and submitting it to SIA "Vides investīciju fonds" (VIF). Funding can be received in the form of a grant. Several project applications for different buildings can be submitted to the competition.
